Anderson de Souza

Anderson de Souza, originally from Brazil and based in Dublin for over 12 years, has more than 20 years of experience in dance theatre, performing and collaborating both nationally and internationally. A versatile performer, choreographer, and teacher, I work with people of all ages and abilities, bringing a strong commitment to creativity, accessibility, and inclusivity in everything I do.

Professionally trained in Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Musical Theatre, and Modern Dance, I’ve worked alongside renowned directors and choreographers across a wide range of projects. I have taught over 50 classes and have worked as a guest teacher with Macushla Dance Club, as well as being part of the BroaReach programme at the Carmelite Community Centre through CoisCéim Dance Theatre over the past several years. Currently finishing my MFA in Theatre Producing at The Lir Academy TCD, where my artistic focus continues to evolve, exploring themes of identity, resilience, and connection.
