The Loft Ballet Company is an auditioned performance company for dedicated ballet dancers looking to take their training beyond the weekly class. Through company-style rehearsals, professional artistic direction and exciting performance opportunities, members experience the discipline, collaboration and artistry of company life in a welcoming and supportive environment.
We founded The Loft Ballet Company with a simple belief: passionate dancers deserve meaningful opportunities to perform, and audiences deserve greater access to live ballet. Through regular productions, community performances and artistic collaborations, we aim to build a thriving company that enriches Dublin's cultural landscape while creating a welcoming home for dancers who wish to continue their artistic journey.

Fernando Palma
Artistic Director & Choreographer
Fernando Palma is an internationally experienced ballet dancer and teacher who has performed and taught across a range of professional settings. His artistic vision combines strong classical technique with expressive performance, creating inspiring opportunities for dancers to develop both technically and artistically.
Ríonach O’Neill
Rionach O'Neill founded The Loft Dance Studio with a vision of creating exceptional dance experiences and opportunities within Ireland. Through The Loft Ballet Company, she aims to build a thriving performance company that enables dedicated dancers to continue performing while bringing high-quality ballet productions to audiences across Dublin.

No. While performance experience is beneficial, we are looking for committed dancers with a passion for ballet and a willingness to learn.

The company is intended for Intermediate to Advanced ballet dancers. Pointework for females is a bonus but not required.

The company welcomes dancers aged 15 and over.

Regular attendance is expected to ensure the highest standard of rehearsals and performances. Repeated absences may result in removal from shows.

The company is working towards one show per season with the hope of having 2 seasons annually and additional performance opportunities where appropriate.
